New girl on the block! I've been searching a lot for info about my new Enfield and this forum keeps popping up in the searches, so I decided I better join. I figure I'll stop freaking out over my Enfield in about a week or so and calm down, then be a normal gun collector again.
Nice to meet you all!

Mark 4 T newbie
hello, I am a new member and new 303 shooter. I have a Mark 4 T I plan on shooting in August at Camp Perry Vintage Sniper Match. I have just started reloading for this rifle. Read the headspace article already. Shot some factory ammo and bought some Remington brass. Loaded shot and new brass with same load to see how different velocity will be. Range Saturday to chronograph. Just got scope tool from Numerich and set 0, we will see how well I accomplished this task. Any reloading tips for this rifle will be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Peanut here
I'm not very knowledgeable but I joined because I am the proud new owner of a remington made Springfield 1903A3. I also own several Mosins (m44, m91/30's including repro snipers) and am trying to bring all my milsurps up to speed in terms of being the most accurate and most shootable pieces of history they can be given my budget.
I finally am posting after lurking forever here. Thanks for all the knowledge I've gained.

Newbie from Central WA St.
Hi there! I'm an old (>63!) geezer who's also a gunsmith. I'm coming up to speed right now on the M1A
platform, but was once upon a long time ago, a member of The Canadian
Army, Seaforth Highlanders, and shot with their team. Modified .303 Lee-Enfields (redone by Parker-Hale as I recall; a type 81 maybe?). The M1A is quite the intriguing platform to be sure; accurizing it makes working on a Rem 700 seem like child's play (or an AR for that matter!).
I hope to acquire, sooner or later, one of those "target-improved" .303 or .308 Lee-Enfields. I also own a Llungman AG42B, [6.5 X 55 of course..] but will likely be selling that one soon in order to acquire another M1A.
And finally, I own and shoot a C. Sharps repro, and a Winchester High-Wall, both in 45-90. Kah-BOOm (add smoke effects, coughing and waving of the hands to clear the air...)

Good day, all. I've been perusing this forum (among others) for a couple weeks now searching for tidbits of information on weapons in my ww1/ww2 rifle collection. Every search I did has always yeilded at least one link to this forum, wherein I usually found what I was looking for, or at least a link to it. Seems like a good place to park myself and see what information you have hiding behind the scenes. I've noticed a lot of kind helpful people here and hope that I can contribute something useful to this forum.
I have a Springfied refurb M1
Garand; a mixmaster M1 Carbine; LB No4 mk 1* 303; SVT 40; Mosin Nagant; Gewahr98 8mm Mauser; 8mm lebel carbine (btw, don't shoot machine gun ammo in these....kicks like hell); Austrian Steyr; MAS 35; 7.7 Jap; 6.5 Carcano carbine; BSA Sht LE III* with a .410 bore. Post ww2 surplus: 8mm Egyptian Hakim; SKS; and a dozen or so civilian rifles as well as surplus and civilian pistols.
I'll be happy to list each one in more detail if someone has an interest. I'm off to the Enfield pages for now as that's the one disassembled on my desk right now.

Hello
Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking for some time and finally had time to post a hello.
I am just getting into mil-surps, I buy what ever I can afford, which is not much..lol I have two enfields both Longbranch 42's one is a bubba special the other in full mil spec and mint. I have always enjoyed firearms but till recently they were more of a utilitarian need for me.
I recently noticed that alot of the firearms I used to think everyone had, not many people actually do. Years ago I had a Lee Speed that was my uncle's, but sold it to help fund the start of my business when I was 18. I will probably speed years tracking down another now. Which led me to think about building a copy and that led me to want to go back to school for gunsmithing. I am currently a chef and can't really stand for long periods doing this anymore.
I enjoy reading everyones post, a lot of informed and interesting people here. I look forward to talking with the forum members here!
