    Just to let you see that I don't just make all this stuff up, here's the first Model 1888 that I measured:

    First, though, a caliper test on a random, but handy ring gage.




    OK so far!

    The rifle. Still loads via clips- no charger upgrade:

    It must have the one I checked last, as the readings are the same as the pervious post! Probably 2-3 years ago- why do I remember such junk????
