It depends on my mood I guess. The No.4 has a very get down to business and get the job done look while the No.1 is quite elegant.

and they ALL look pretty darned good, when you get right down to it, each in its own particular era.
I think there is NO weapon as downright intimidating as an SMLE with that extra 17 inches on the front end. The Pattern 1903 bayonet looks positively POLITE in comparison!

I have to go with the SMLE. Elegant and business-like all in one. Having said that, my No4 MkII is possibly the better shooter. A smooth trigger, better sights and longer sight radius have some bearing there.
