Dwight D. Eisenhower surely understood logistics. In addition to the masterfully planned invasions, we would not have the Interstate Highway System today. While I think the "domino" theory was a bunch of hooey, his development of a sound strategic defense against the Soviet
Union probably saved our backsides a second time.

If you think the domino theory is incorrect, you don't have a good grasp of history or an adequate understanding of the Communist agenda.

You are right. We stopped the communist takeover of Viet Nam at the cost of only 40000 lives, and that solved all of our problems with International Godless Communism.
You will never convince me that Viet Nam was not the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time. Many of my friends died there for no good result.
