browniningautorifle, those are pretty harsh words. I can't prove my statement and I wislh I could. I am drawing from a rather shady memory of the ammo I mentioned. It wasn't an ententional BS statement. I certainly wouldn't be coming here for information it it was. As for Canada
not using reloads, from what I can gather your're probably right.
If you think the Brazilian
army are second rate, when it comes to ammunition quality, you would be wrong on that one.

Harsh?...I'm just stating facts as I understand. I've never used the term BS before, but you mentioned it so I used your term. Was that what you meant?

Two threads, this is hard to follow. Once again, I'm not trying to be harsh just using the term you used. (BS I guess is what you mean?) Yes , I consider Brazil
to be second rate. I've used their firearms. I've seen their cities. But that's not what we're discussing here. Now I quit both these threads. I leave you to it.
Sorry if direct answers offended anyone.

Thanks browningautorifle
it means Bull Sh-t. I certainly didn't intend any. I also wasn't offended. Just didn't want the mods to get on our case.
I did find out the answers I was looking for and some more knowledge concerning the US 45-70 and 45 Colt reloads and the powder they used.
The name of the company I was looking for was called Centaur. It did use surplus milspec brass, both rifle and pistol. It never sold any ammunition to any nations's military force that I know of. It did sell the reloaded ammo to security and police forces for practice purposes though. Some of that surplus, ended up on some gun store shelves, under the name Trooper. Their 5.56x45 was loaded to milspec pressure with 55grain fmj at around 57,000 psi. There were some issues with their handgun ammo and some people reported problems with civilian rifles as well. The company only lasted a few years from what I can find out. Information on ammunition producers in Canada
is very difficult to track down.
