I had my 1943 Standard Products professionally restored back to orginal issue configuration and reparkerized. I am very happy with the results and any value it may have removed by doing it was offset for me by having it made safe, and relieable, and it looks fantastic.

I used Miltech for the work and the guys are really great and the restoration price was reasonable.

Just checked these folks' prices. Yowzers, go with DGR Guns instead, they'll do a much better job at a much better price.

I am a firm believer that you should repark/refinish only when the material condition of the weapon is in question (i.e. rust, excessive wear, etc). Yes, a shooter is just a shooter, but USGI is still a USGI. Remember from a collector standpoint, individual parts have value themselves. Even with your weapon being a "parts gun", you will loose the value of the individual parts once you put modern repark on them.
