Turkey--OK. The Turks dumped a pile of M98's on the world market 8-10 years ago. Many nice keepers, Gew98's and G98/22's. Look closely on the receiver as you should find the Turk half-moon stamp. The Turks re-barreled many of these, so a mint barrel is likely Turkishicon. A nice keeper.
