Dave, I understand your frustration, but you have paid for the parts, right? You will get them. It is not unusual for a 1 to 2 year wait on parts from The Rifle Shoppe. Try to call them before lunch their time. If, on the other hand, you only ordered the parts without paying for them, then you may never hear from them, they only make the parts if paid for.
The gun looks good, thanks for showing us.

Your rifle is definitely worth showing off, even in it's current incomplete state.
It's really quite fascinating!
Thanks for the rescue and updates. This kind of thing does have a way of dragging on, I reckon it helps build patience.

Thanks g&j, I got the ramrod pdq and the rear sight and worm and other thing came into their shop months later but were defective and was told they would redo and it wouldn't take long. Well i took that with a grain of salt and figured if I waited 2-3 months it would take that long again. at 5 months i placed 2 call and left a message but you give me hope that it could still happen and I will try calling before lunch their time and keep my fingers crossed. thanks again for the help and kind word ...dave

DaveN,
I know your frustration on this matter. I have never dealt with The Rile Shoppe, so I have no words of wisdom.
On the bright side, I have loosely followed this thread, and am still in awe of whatcha got!
Also, taking time for such a project can be normal. I have some rifle projects that have taken as long as 10years to complete. I must state that some things are worth the wait!
Thanks for posting!!

Just got a call from the Rifle Shoppe in Oklahoma. I was floored as I had given up on the rear sight base and leaf and the worm and other thing(some sort of ream) that goes in the patch box. They are ready and being shipped. Midmichigun posted that it might take some time. Seems like almost a year I hope it was worth the wait.

It was, their parts are always of high quality. Honestly? You are lucky it didn't take longer, the parts you needed are rarely cast since you are probably the only customer that has asked for them. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for all the nice comments, This rifle has been a labor of love.
Harlan you pics look great I will take some notes and try with my next shots.
My problem lately is working too much and then rushing some shots for a post or update just to get it done and it does the informing part but I need to take the time to do it justice.
