Guess what? I'll be spending some time at my Brother in laws house for this one. You see when you said trapezoid I thought why do I have to get one of those things I see kids jumping up and down on in backyards. Oh! That's a trampoline? Any way I will be hands on but with a toolmaker/Machinist/Army armorer looking over my shoulder and why lie in the end he will do the most work so I won't bodge it up. Patrick, I'll use your info and when he gets time when our other project is done I'll get to it. For now thanks again, and HAPPY NEW YEAR. Dave

Sounds good, and you'll learn a bit more at the same time! Don't forget to let us see the finished result.

Hello it's me again. I'm planning on taking my musket to the Orlando gun show Saturday just for fun. But if I was offered something I can't refuse ??? I need honest opinions on what would be a good offer? If you have read the whole thread you know in great detail what it is, as I've held nothing back. I'm hoping it's rarity will offset to some degree the fact that it's not original since the damage was pretty bad. I will never shoot it and really want it to go to some one who has the knowledge to put a few lead projectiles down range. So please indulge me with you opinions and many thanks in advance. Dave

Just to put it to bed.... I sold it for 2100 so what its worth is what its worth.
Many thanks to all who spent so much time on this rifle and thread and I hope had as much fun as I did.
