AZphil: You have diagnosed the compulsion to get more and more milsurps and researching them continuously very accurately....addiction! After firing my first M96 I was hooked on the high quality and wonderful accuracy of an old rifle and have not only added 18 more Krags, Swedish Mausers, German Mausers and Carcanos but cleansed the cabinets of inferior and much newer firearms, save for some CZs and favorite Rugers. The search for parts, sights and ammunition all add to the fun of restoring or improving the sporterized versions and finally hunting and target shooting with century old rifles.....yes....addiction masked as a great hobby!

BTW there may big bigger Mil surplus forums but this is by far the best! way cooler mods.
