    Exclamation

Hello Ed and whiterider ...... and welcome ....

As of posting this, we note that as reqested in its title, neither of you have read the "sticky" post at the top of this Enfield forum. The system tracks who has read what thread and neither of your on-line names are currently listed.

Please read the Welcome .... Please Read First! (click here) introductory post carefully, particularly the part that relates to posting.

The Enfield (or other firearms related forums) are not intended for off-topic disucssions or politically oriented rants. There is a separate forum titled 2nd Amendment and Political (click here) for that purpose.

Ed, with all due respect, would it also be possible to keep the extraneous pics to a minimum. ...... It would be appreciated.

Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy the site, the CSPicon heritage and this fine brotherhood of collectors ....

Define extraneous pics. (Some of us are verbally challenged and a picture is worth a thousands words)

    Too funny ...

Tell you what, we'll let the community decide that with their feedback from time to time.

.... again, welcome... and thank you for your many "books and manual" contributions which benefit all collectors.

Hi everyone. I’m an American and I am straining to see the humor in the cartoon. It was a woman from California who wrote the spendulious bill so I have a hard time seeing the racism. Nancy Polosie has about the same IQ as the monkey which is sad not funny.

    A target No.4

Well, let me interject. The RACCOONs in my neighbourhood are nuisance animals that rediscovered my garbage cans last night. Lush gray fur with black face-mask markings, and a humped back waddle. The little buggers always manage to open the lid and scatter the kitchen waste over the driveway. The RACCOONs are out of winter hibernation, and now it is spring. The vernacular name for them is, 'COON. And where I come from there is no other use for that English language word. What meaning did you think I meant?

PS - I have a very thoroughly modified No.4 Mk1/3 target rifle that was regulated by Fulton, converted to 7.62 and fitted with an amazing piece of precision woodworking. It has a single stage trigger and some sort of speedlock striker.

I have been asked to leave politics out of my postings, BUT I feel bad because a posting I started turned into a train wreck and cost whiterider his membership at another Enfield forum.

The point I was making was some people have signature blocks at the bottom of their postings with some very slanderous and racial statements and Whiterider gets burned for saying the word “raccoon” which could be translated several ways.

I myself always trust pilots and their judgments because if you make them mad they just open the door and kick you out of “THEIR” aircraft at 30,000 feet. (I was an aircraft mechanic and the aircraft always belonged to me on the ground after the pilot broke it)

P.S. The Australianicon owner of the American News Paper and its Australian editor were not banned at Gunboards for printing the cartoon so why should whiterider be banned (read between the lines, favoritism and the good ol’ boy network was in play)

I’m just happy to find a place where I can communicate with that (expletive deleted) low life pilot whiterider.

Maple Leaf; I would be interested to know what type of woodwork your No4 Mk1/3 has been fitted with, any chance of a picture?

    Say Coon !!!!

I'm sure anyone in Australiaicon over the age of 10 would know where that comes from. We don't have "coons" but we do have COON. Say COON and smile!!!

Ed, for all your ranting and raving over Smeads use of "YOUR" information (and i use the term "your "very, very loosely), I cannot see anywhere that you have given proper thanks, recognition and due credit to the original publisher of the information you now put forward and claim as yours. From what I can see, you have taken someone elses information in the form of manuals. You have COPIED them, and then published them on INTERNET fora general and now you are claiming that they are "yours". And should someone wish to copy the information COPIED by you, one should seek your permission to do so, acknowledge it as yours and then give thanks to you and pay homage.

Maybe I can be directed to a posting where you give due credit and thanks to the original publishers of the Enfield manuals that you have COPIED and acknowledge that you are merely COPYING someones elses works.

Still no real coherent response to the cartoon Ed !!
Seems I'm not the only one that didn't take it as racist.
Waiting for humour lesson class 101 Oh Humour Guru.

It is Ed today isn't it ??, or is it ?? Who are we today Ed ???
Or should I be directing this to Super Cordite man ??

Standing by for incoming tangent !!!

    Danny
