Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi everyone,
I've been involved with firearms most o fmy life, and recently became interested in building a retro AR. I've done most of my research through AR15.com and happened upon your site via that search.
You have a very informative site and I hope to garner some much needed info here.........looks like you have a lot to offer.
In the past I've shot NRA Highpower, using AR-15's, and I've become more interested in the historical side of AR's/M16 icon

's. I'm in the process of gathering parts for a 607 carbine build at this time.

I am a new member from Vancouver, WA, and a strong supporter of our 2nd Ammendment rights (Lars Larson and Ted Nugent fan)!
A member of this site refered me because I have a couple of old rifles that belonged to my father who passed last year. We are moving and would like to find new homes, and people who can appreciate these (almost 100 year old) rifles.
