Anyone recognize PH5D?
I'm looking into an aperture sight called a PH5D, the owner says its for a no4 enfield but it doesn't look quite right for that, anyone know what it is, P17 perhaps?
thanks R

Thanks gents, and I hadn't realized how thorough the rifleman site is...awesome detail.

The base is intended for one of the threaded holes that most (not all) No.8 actions have. The windage arm is shorter than the .303 one, on the grounds that no .22 will ever need much adjustment.
Occasionally one finds 5C bases with the 5D arm fitted.
