I think it’s pretty nice, see what you all think.

Bolt OI, firing pin type 1 WI, extractor type W-I, extractor plunger type 1, ejector type 1. Inland trigger housing, trigger housing pin type 1, trigger RHI. A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I don't see any stake marks for the rear sight, probably a little too early for that - or did they only stake them if they went in too easy? - Bob

In the very last picture it looks like the rear sight is sticking up away from the sight base on the left. There is a wedge shaped gap for lack of a better term. Is that normal?

    Very nice looking carbine!

Man, that is a nice one. I see you found the Ordnance mark on the handguard. Two-tone receiver and all.

    Congrats HP,
Glad it was a Forum member who nabbed it.
When I first came across it, I just couldn't believe it didn't get the opening bid.
Same time Rebuilds were fetching $1800........ Go Figure.

    THx For Sharing It,
    Charlie
