My new WWII Canadian Army Tommy helmet...

Got this at the gun show on the wknd...it wasn't cheap but is mint in every respect...a collector I know said his wife told him to sell one of his collection...it has little tags hanging from everything telling what year it is etc. It's a beauty. The bandage pack was included.

Who is it made by and what year. If you look along the edge there should be letters and and a year stamp

It has GSW 1942 stamped near the rim.

GSW= General Steelwares made in 1942 (obviously) and cost a whoping $1.30 in '42 to make

Not everyone can read stencollector :P.... or afford books..... but it does have some pretty nice pictures in it
