As I understand there are 2 models of this particular rifle called by collectors a M1935 and M1950. Early M1935 receivers are single broach cut and it is located at the very forward end of the receiver at the 3 oclock position where there locking lug would begin to engage. M1950 has 2 and the second is at the 9 oclock directly opposite. Done to make the manufacturing process quicker. Mine is double and since yours is .308 Win I would bet yours is too. Is yours marked Politie on the right side of the receiver ring?
