Cold War Norwegian Ski Pants? Help identifying these trousers
Hey everyone,
New to the forum, long time re-enactor; 1st Virginia Regiment, St. Mary's City militia and many more.
I was wondering if I could get a little help identifying these pants. My uncle, Al Saguto, said they might be Cold War Norwegian
Ski Pants but wasn't sure. I bumped into a guy at a store one day and was only able to get a few quick snaps but no more information. Any info on them; period, regiment, etc, would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a production tag inside that would help. I think they're German
as I had a set of the normal wool combat pants that were similar.

Sadly I wasn't able to get a view of the tag as I only bumped into the guy in a store.
German tho? Great! Now I have a bit to work with. Thoughts on era?

By the front pocket it looks like a British
Commonwealth item . The Greeks, Belgian and Dutch used the British Battle Dress type trouser . If those " Knickers " had a pleated small pocket ( for Field Dressing ) right where the mans right hand is then it would be a Commonwealth item. I own a couple of Belgian Battle Dress trousers dated 1949 .

Is it possible that these are Dispatch Riders Trousers used by motor cyclists?

Not dispatch rider trousers, they look more like British
ski trousers. Are there any legible labels?
