Well - a rifle with some history it is believed that the "Cie" is the Swissicon army/Police so it looks like its been to Switzerland.
The box sounds very unusual. It is normally only the No4 varients that had boxes. If it is a No1 box then it sounds rare - it could be just a modified No4 box - but still not a usual occurance.
Any chance of some pics of rifle and box ?
