Things like this are almost impossible to estimate value... When you have a one-of-a-kind object there's no other sold to compare it with.
It just comes down to how much someone else is willing to pay for it. Good luck.

Thanks for response Harlan, in the end I put it on the shelf with that confirmation I got from our Museum and its probably going to stay there while I search for collectors and gather some info...
