Rifle Guy, may I add a comment. Two years ago I took my nephew to the Garand Clinic at Perry. Since I did not attend the clinic myself I can not say what the instructors did or did not include in the clinic.
May I suggest when teaching the various positions of the match that the instructors emphasize the natural point of aim once they get into the position. While coaching on the firing line I saw to way many shooters that were had a problem getting on target. After having them adjust their shooting position and adjust for natural point of aim they were thrilled and felt good about shooting again. I had one fellow all over the target in prone and when he went to the sitting position his score went way up.
