Remington 1903A3 hunting......
Guys I 'm interested in a Remington 1903A3 and I'm not sure what to look for to ensure it's correct. Can you guys offer some suggestions as to what I need to look for?
Looking at two, both around 700.00.
41421X 4-43
Bolt is marked "R"
Original "S" stock walnut stock with RA cartouches
34744XX 12-43
Original "S" stock walnut stock with RA cartouches
Thanks, for any tips.
David

If you could post pics here instead it would make it infinitely easier to identify what's a deal or not.

They both look good, but you want to know which one would be correct or complete? Is that it? Close as possible to original and shootable at the same time? There's a few that will be along shortly to assist there.

Correct Jim, I understnad all parts should be blued except for the barrel and receiver which were parked.

While you're waiting for some more answers, there are threads here discussing '03A3s and what they should have to be correct. It might give you a head start.
