What's to identify? Standard leg helmet and liner.

Ok was it use in WWII or Vietnam , Korea which era / war ? label Oct. 72 ? is this correct.Tried looking up and all over the place with placement of helmet might not be searching incorrectly, that why asking. thanks

No...the straps are for the M1C which had the snaps. You can see them in pic one. Also it has the front seam which makes it WW2 I think...
The inner however is the last of the many produced. It had the removable suspension harness for repair and laundry. The troops would take them out to wash, throw them in the dryer and they would fit a cat after. Sad really. Oct 72 might be quite realistic for it's production date. As for actual value, you might have to wait for some of the US citizens to quote you as Canada
doesn't have much of a market. The liner isn't worth a thing by it's self though. The outer has a bit of value...
If you're searching, look for M1
helmet...look for the details I've mentioned.
