One more from the batch I picked up. Nice wood, though RIA did their usual darndest to obliterate the markings. They did add the adjustable sight, though. Cheers, Bruce.

Nice carbine! It looks like that stock may have been on a gun with the later barrel band at some time in the past. - Bob

USGI, My thoughts also. Looks to show wear from either a Type 2 or Type 3 barrel band. I like how the cartouche came back through the draw filing. Had the same thing happen on a CMP M1D with the boxed SA filed off, the RIA over EB stamp applied to cover it and the SA coming back through the RIA/EB. Wood can do some weird things.
