Ah yes, she's definitely seen the ranges of the Royal Ordnance Factory "Edgefield". A fine rifle too. Enjoy.

Looks like it's had the charger guide bridge welded up in its 7.62 life. This was quite common when they were in their L42 life due to the extra loading that used to spread the bodies a bit more than in their .303 life. This is what happened to the No5 rifle too, due to there being less meat at the back end that used to 'spread' it a bit. Evidenced by the fact that the pin, retaining, pin axis backsights were always(?) sheared off*

(*Yes......., I know that your No5 hasn't but you haven't slogged it to death yet or been involved in a running gun battle with it - yet!)
