M1 Carbine Stocks
Has Anyone done business with OWS ? I talked to there gunsmith the other day and he had mention they have purchased over 8,000 Stocks that were here in Storage for several years from S.Korea. He did mention that there in 2 grades and the ones that are Grade B are also very nice. The ones they are selling 10 from each manufacture except I P for 999.99 are the nicest ones. 9 stocks plus one replacement. The rest of them most of the Ordnance Stamps are gone and have a hairline crack to 1/8" long and some in Grade B are up to 1/2" long. Are these Stocks in any Grade nice and worth the cost ? Some the cost is not that bad. I'm going to buy a couple of items from them tomorrow, but curious about there Stocks and wanted to know if anyone has bought a Stock from them before.

Here is a response (post 10 on the CMP
link) from the guy who bought one from OWS. And that was before they started to sell them in lots of 10 and 20, when they were trying to sell them one at a time.
Well.. my stock arrived and I must say i am disappointed!! Actually disappointed is an understatement!! It is going back as soon as they give me the procedure for returning it. I was (I thought??) receiving a grade 2 stock. I thought that meant just below grade 1, right?? Wrong, how about a grade 15 if such exist. BTW, this company is in Martinsburg, WV. I know nothing about anyone from Tenn.
