Had a pretty good post, but, once again, the computer ate it. Too much more and I may just give up internetting altogether. Infernal machines!

Yes the milage is a bit sad but trying to kick start the thing crikey takes some doin' even with the decompression lever engaged, will e mail nephew tonight so hopefully he has some pics of it I know he has had a ton of work done to it he kept the old V8 it had and plonked a 10 grand V8 in it, plus he has dump gates on the mufflers so you can make it sound pretty loud think the exhaust is all had fabbed stainless steel.
The previous owner put a $20,000 paint job on it which has been up graded with more clear than a sunny day the original theme on the bonnet was kept as that was the crowning glory anyway will get the pics and show the crew here.
Me I just want a Buick straight eight as we had two of them when I was a youngster plus others as my dad was a dabbler in backyard car sales (Got busted) but we had some very desirable cars like Plymouths, Chevy Impala's, AP-6 Valiant, R series Valiant, X2 HD Holden, Morris minor, HJ Holden Caprice, EH Holden Premier, Pontiac Luerentian and so on...........all gone now thought the Pontiac is seen in Perth but the guy wont sell it back to us.
As for Cinders shooting days nothing going as our range is still closed and I am about as stir crazy as a possum in a mix master they say August but I reckon xmas because you cannot do the earthworks on the butts and mantlet when the clouds are dumping water every where things are grim here folks my Farley rest has not even got dirty.........so if I am more off track than usual forgive me you know why. My wife brought me a chain saw the other day what does that imply........?

If things get too slow, maybe I can get work as a florist:

Some out of the backyard garden I took to my sister's store.

If the bayo lug is the same as the one on the standard 98, I'm sure that I have a couple of spares in my kit.
If you PM me with your address I would be happy to package the best-looking one and pop it in the Post to you.

It's not the same bayonet lug but thanks for offering. The KAR98a lug has quarter inch grooves cut down the top on both sides for the hinged top cover.
