They're all over the place. The addresses are only the registered address where they're supposed to be. So long as their mail goes there and they pick it up they can be anyplace.
One thing to keep in mind: Many of these "sex offenders" are registered because of a fight and not a rape or sexual assault.
I know of a case where someone was forced to register because at the time of the fight he was 17 (tried as an adult) and his opponent was still 16 (juvenile by law). Even though it was a fist fight and only about 3 months seperation in age, he was retroactively required to register. "Sexual assault of a minor" since that's the only classification they had to fit him into.
Another made the mistake of slapping his ex-wife while she was beating on him. Guess what happened there...

Great site. Thanks for the information. As a mother of school aged children it is nice to know where the scum are. And as JB White said it isn't always the way it seems, but the one I found was not a good person.

The site only lists KNOWN sex offenders. It creates the illusion of safety without any real safety existing. What happened to the days of parents not teaching their kids to talk to strangers and finding out who their children associate with and meeting with them as well as talking to their children about inappropriate touching from strangers or family members? Those three methods provide more safety for children then does a list.

What you say limazulu is correct, however, you have to know your surroundings for your personal protection when you go somewhere.
I believe the same applies here. Know who is in your neighborhood.

Check out this WEB site! A person can view a map as to where the vermin is located. The police record, address and even a photo of the pervert is listed. Just punch in a Zip Code . .. Found a sex offender living just around the corner from my sister's house in Boston. I think she invited him over for afternoon coffee.
