Rifle looks like it is probably a legitimate No. 4 MK.I (T). Made by BSA Shirley factory in 1943. Standard mid-war sniper rifle that likely saw action. It has the important TR and S markings. My only concern is that the "T" marking is present though it is unusual in shape and exact placement, Serial number of rifle body and bolt is AO4623. Scope serial number on wrist appears to be 6538. To complete this outfit, one would want a No. 32 MK. I scope (ideally SN 6538) , bracket, and U.S. M1907 leather sling. Ideally a No. 8 MK. I (steel) scope case and No. 15 MK. I chest. Unlike US M1C, M1D and M1903A4 sniper rifles, having a matching scope and bracket SN is very important on these No. 4 (T) rifles and the chance of finding the matching missing scope with its bracket is very slim. Be aware that even if the scope/bracket/scope case are found, many owners are reluctant to part with them or if so, will usually want another set in exchange. If for sale, they will likely want a large amount of money, more than the rifle cost. The same applies for a mismatched original scope etc. One can fit a replica scope, bracket and sling.
