Sorry Vince. If it's the vagaries of the DeLisle you're asking about, you need a Delisle expert! But just remember that while the base rim dia of the .45ACP is similar to the 7.62, it's SMALLER than the .303 - that the de-lisle action was designed for! So the smaller dia .45 case would need assistance in much the same way as the equally smaller dia 762 case does

Have had cause to dig my other magazine pouch out of storage, so here's some pictures. Made by Martin Wright & Sons in 1974 and currently holding two commercial magazines.

It's a darker green colour than my other 1960's dated one.

So that's where we got the idea for our mag pouches. Too bad ours weren't exact copies, then they might have worked. Not sure about the material though. Mind, ours weren't better there...
