    Hello all,

I am a new member here, and I’m very interested Lee Enfield’s. Especially the sniping range of the rifles.

    Hello, all...

I am President of the Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors' Association, and an avid collector of firearms of all types. I've enjoyed visiting these boards for many years, but never signed up.

Check out our Winchester M2 raffle at http://www.iawca.org/2009WinchesterM2Carbine.html.

This is the eleventh year for these raffles.

My name is Rob and I am a new member. I recently purchased an Enfield 1918 SMLE and already have some questions. I am new to collecting military guns, I have always collected Bayonets and Trench Knives.

I have done alot of research with the Enfield Riflesicon and I am a little baffled by the information the seller gave me on mine.

My rifle has stamped on the right side by the bolt with the Enfield Seal on top, below that is the name Enfield
    1918
    SMLE
    III =

The left side has stamped FIR
    1931

On the barrel in front of the breach is stamped R 5784 which I assume is the serial number.

When I purchased this rifle, the seller told me it was a 7x57 cal., but I cannot find where Enfield ever made a 7x57 cal.

Can anyone tell me if this is correct or is this a .303?

    Post Hello,Everyone

Just would like to say Hi,to everyone. I've been gunsmithing for a bout 2 years now and have always enjoyed gun since I was a little boy and now it has become a passion of mine,I try to travel to all the Gun Shows that I can attend,I love coming across any old fixer upper that I can buy and fix it up to show room condition, and well the last gun show I attended was in Tipton IN and well I came across a old 1930 enfeild and it has been made into a .410 shotgun pretty cool gun,but I have a question for anyone who might know where I can find a .303 barrel for this gun? It was made inito a .410 shotgun for the India army I believe? not realy sure but I'm intersted in turning it back into a .303 rifle. I have been looking all over the internet trying to find out more on this but can't seem to find out where anyone has anything to offer so if any of you gun buffs can help me out? I would greatly appreciate it THANK YOU, GOD BLESS

    Hello,
I have been collecting milsurps since 1973. I have lurked on Joustericon for several years and decided to register. In the words of a former GOP presidential primary candidate (unsuccessful), "I have more guns than I need, but less than I want.".

    Hello everyone!

I have interested (fascinated) by firearms since I was a child. Have been collecting for 30+ years. I used to visit the old CSPicon M-1 Garandicon Pages a few years ago.
