    M24 Mauser question

I have an M24 Mauser that is missing the handguard. They are not easy to find by any means. Does anyone know where I can get one? Barring that is the M24/47 handguard of the same dimensions; i.e. will it fit the M24? I am about at the point of buying a complete M24 /47 stock; pirating the handguard, and auctioning the remainder off. Thanks

There are several hand guards you can make fit but it will be very hard to get an M24 specific hand guard. I don't have an M24 but do have an M24/47. It has the type that fits over the front of the receiver. I can't guarantee that is what it originally had. I would think the same type would work on the M24.

Most M24/47 handguards are M24 handguards. It should fit just fine.

I bought the entire 24/47 stock and will auction the remainder off. I will have a nice rifle when the handguard gets installed.
