Every bit is a bit more than we had.
The barrel dates are most important, even if it is a replacement.

D16336 all matching numbers.
MA 41 receiver (has arrow over the MA)
MA 1942 butt
MA '42 on rear right sight protector wings
FTR and D/I\D on receiver ring
MA/52 on LHS butt socket
4/52 barrel
SLAZ 51 top wood
Rear sight originally from rifle A71407. Re-struck to D16336
Foresight protection wings drilled for zero adjustment.
As with most FTR rifles I have examined, it has has been refitted with a Lithgow
star marked (older pattern) cocking piece (knurled ridge) and trigger guard (with swivel screw lugs)
Sold out of service marks to barrel knox, receiver ring and butt.

1938's can't be worth much, I see a complete full wood at Rock Island with a few other rifles.
In OZ you would need to mortgage the wife.....I must live in the wrong place. Incidently, the S/N prefix is B not R.
