M1918 scope restoration advice
Hello all, a while back I acquired the major part of an M1918 scope, what I have is in good condition but missing it's entire front lens assembly. A forum member has been good enough to offer me the drawings so I can hopefully find an engineer to turn the brass components, but before I tackle that major problem I'm thinking the missing lenses and prism may be either not possible to replace or VERY expensive. I remember Peter L. had a batch made a few years ago, I don't suppose anyone still has a set they'd be willing to part with? if not I'll look into the feasibility of getting some made.
And then there's the missing prism too, not sure whats possible with this.
Grateful for any help or advice you may have. Thanks
Matt.

Myself and 2 other forum members on Milsurps clubbed together to get M18/Ozzie Pattern 18 prism lenses made in the U.k for our own scopes requiring restoration/repair. The minimum order was for 5 to warrant tooling set up, there are 2 spares owned by one of the other members who is happy to let one go, but be warned they are not cheap.
I personally have acquired new Objective Lenses (OG) and erector cell lenses and still have some spares. I also had modified Objective lens Brass cells made by a talented Model Engineer who sadly is no longer with us. These new cells enabled the new lens to be removed easily in future to be cleaned or replaced unlike the original soldered one.
