Just received another PM claiming to have an item I'm looking to buy. He has no posts and has followed the same pattern as the last guy asking me to contact a random email.

Here is the message;

I can help you out with a lead. Please contact Dickson on dicksonblake94@gmail.com regarding your request. He is located in Texas, and the last time i talked to him, he had No.32 Scope Tin for sale. I purchased items from him in the past and they arrived in TOP condition.

Due to this being the second time this has been tried with me I have now retracted all wanted adverts as I simply dont trust this place for trading. Sorry...

If you go by the reputable sellers here like Alan De Enfield, Painter777, BAR or any of the other long term members just PM them with your request they have a spider web of contacts and go from there they will help as they always do for plebs like me well not really I tend to be just left of center and probably only just tolerated here, but there are trustworthy people here don't hang them out to dry just because of one shonky dude. Just block him period.

This is the second time I have had this kind of message here in under a month.

I appreciate the heads up, and i have not written dealing with members off simply because of this. I have had many good dealings and favours from members even during my short time here, but i will no longer be placing wanted adverts on this site.

I'm happy to make deals here but I'm not replying to muppets chance emailing me looking to take my hard earned cash. Cant stand people who scam others.

My views on those air thieves that fleece people especially the older folk out of their savings are not for print but they do however align perfectly with what happened to spies when caught in the enemies uniform!

Just received a PM from the same scammer.......it was in regards to my search for P14 wood!!!!!
Before I read this post I replied to the contact...that contact was in Texas as well and the email address was petergathige.two@gmail.com

They always reply and usually with images pulled from Google!!

I replied to them the first time around about the item I was interested in. They sent pics, when I Google searched images they were literally the first pictures that showed up. They claimed they had them for years but the pictures were from a recent eBay sale.
