Today the gun shop called me to inform that the Practical Elite shown in the used section had actually been sold immediately but erroneously uploaded twice. They apologised and told me they had another one, but with black, plastic grips. 590 € instead of 680. If that one was also of interest. Yep. Paid already and I'll pick her up the first day they open the cages again.
Actually, I even got 3% further discount for paying ahead...
Does not look bad at all even like that.
And, they also told me, these are all guns they bought from Bernardelli after they closed definitely. So, new guns or completely reconditioned ones. Difficult to say.

Starting to get reports of people I know that have come down with the corona 19....nobody I know dead yet. The local churches are taking turns pumping out meals for the poor....Went to Wal Mart yesterday and for the first time in a month or better there was a lot of toilet paper at near normal quantity!
My daughter has not been being 'covid safe'...rules do not apply to her. She got extremely angry and dramatic because we would not come to her house for her Easter party Sunday!?
Many ladies making masks and fabric and that are in good supply however elastic is non-existent.
It's strange how the number of deaths from heart disease, old age, cancer, flu, etc have fallen to nill yet the covid toll is high....seems anything that kills anybody is now considered covid related. I had it pointed out to me that the number of dead from automobile accidents have fallen off dramatically....partly because there are far fewer vehicles on the roads for frivolous travel and likely even more a result of the down turn in the oil field activity a month or so before the covid hit. There has/had been a huge number of oil field vehicle crashes in the last year or so many with multiple fatality's in the area.
Not sure where Oklahoma is at in the covid-curve...doesn't matter I guess. I spent the weekend taking two broken Daisy 880 pellet rifles apart and using the best parts to make one serviceable pellet rifle.....cleaning and checking an ancient S&W .32 revolver....messing around with an Italian
'Bodeo' 10.4mm ordinance revolver that's rather rough.
Life ain't too bad except for my daughter's stupidity and penchant for extreme drama

Some German
customers of mine just told me that what happened during Easter week-end is foolish. Lots of people going to relatives or friends, having a pic-nic in groups etc.
That would mean wasting the advantage they had until now for...nothing.
Havenot, lots of people still don’t accept reality, but sooner or later they’ll come to their senses. And maybe you’ll get the “sorry dad” you deserve. Maybe in an indirect way...
C’mon! You have work to do.

Yeh....work to do...and lots of it. Cannot really explain daughter's covid attitude...26 years old...recently single and mother of two. No social distancing...no mask...has been on at least two dates with two separate guys in the last two weeks. But then there are quite a few folks in OK who think they are immune to rules, regulations. and common sense. My guess is these folks think they are immune to the covid and everybody they know is too...
I had a customer last week who drove up to my house...I went out to talk to him and he could NOT social distance! He got close and tried to shake my hand...was offended when I backed off....got in his truck and promptly used a small bottle of hand sanitizer to clean his hands!! I mean really?? What an idiot!
Many and most folks are at least putting modest effort or better to stay covid clean. I talked to a lady at Wal Mart yesterday from far western OK...she was wearing her mask as was I...she reported that her local Wal Mart was about stripped bare! Probably better than 50% of the folks in the store had masks on although but few or none of the employees were wearing masks??

The virus has officially affected my collecting. I passed on two ebay auctions due to financial uncertainty. There are promises of help from the government, loans/grants etc but the need is so great they are quickly running out of funds. Been off work for nearly a month now with no income at all earned. We are not in any financial danger, and I've been assured I'm good for the one government loan which will replace the lost income.
This can't go on much longer. Trump wants to reopen, many governors don't, some never closed down. Cuomo says he's ready to open when certain things are met. Notably a vaccine. Dude, that's 18 months away. New York city will be Mad Max world by then and a vaccine will be the least of your worries.
In PA the state legislature is preparing to over rule the Governor on some things but he's promising a veto which they can't overcome. They also finally made it mandatory to wear masks in stores, both employees and customers. Hard to believe they weren't cooperating with this earlier but it's mandatory now. Considering 60% were not wearing them before, a lot of people will be scrambling now.

Seems to me the longer thisa sh*t goes on the more crud seems to come up in the morass, who to believe FIIK all the fingers waving and the chooks squawking is not going to fix the virus only adherance to the medical advice.
These people that live with the fairies saying it won't affect them are usually the ones that get it die and then leave a whole lot of grief behind.
Our W.A Govt is keeping the screws on for another month as is a PM which is good the curve is going down but give in now may lead to what happened in Tassie, the wick dipper got 6 months jail be out in 4 weeks makes a mockery of the hazard he could have created me I'd lock him up for the 12 months.
I can only say to you all in the hardest hit country's hang in there things are slowing up but now the news geeks here have said on T.V that China said the virus got out of a lab! (Yeah probably on a bat wing!) Far out we know that you numpties its from the Class 4 pathogen lab not 20 miles from Wuhan gosh they must think we are all dyslexic and dumb to boot.
Keep safe people.

A bit like hoodies in the inner cities in the UK
. They are seen as "wrong side of the fence" to.
Perhaps it will be a more acceptable form of face covering in time, as this ain't going away fast, it will be around us and on us for a few years yet.
Even if the vaccine is developed after rigourous testing this September and it works it will take at least 2 years to immunise everybody on this planet.
There will still be those who either can't get to an immunisation centre or can't afford it anyway who will be out and among us.
Lets hope theres a free to all policy right across the globe.
