powder for 45 ACP 230 grain FMJ???

6.5grBullseye/230gr FMJ ~ 26,500psi in a 21,000-rated gun. Bad juju indeed (and probably beating the hell outta the frame/slide). 4.5-to-5.0-ish sounds about right.

I've used Bullseye and Win231. In my experience the Win231 was cleaner but you had to add about a 1/2 a grain more powder for the same velocity.

Sorry, I haven't used titegroup but was considering trying it as I heard it was cleaner still but don't go by my memory.
