Type 44 Carbine..
Just bought one that looks unfired..but missing bayonet. First version..Any thoughts where I might look for a bayonet ?..thanks..jv

You will need to figure out what version of the Bayonet you need. Single or Double. A Picture would help.
Liberty Tree Collectors the two eared version right now. But GunBroker and eBay always has them too.

Mine is the type...First Version...that slips over the barrel.. I'll check Liberty..thanks..Jv.

The one you mentioned is Moisin Nagant 44..Not Arisaka

ops.. Up was thinking the M44 Mosin, sorry about that. I did see some Bayonets when I was looking at a Arisaka last week.. let me see if I can find the link.

ops.. Up was thinking the M44 Mosin, sorry about that. I did see some Bayonets when I was looking at a Arisaka last week.. let me see if I can find the link.

First...Thanks to the Forum for the tip on a first series bayonet at auction.. The results......................As with all commodities..there is supply and demand. In this case....the demand far outweighs the supply...The market spoke to the tune of....$220+premium=shipping...I got caught up ..and won it.."Won" is a bad word !!..Numbers won't match my all-matching 44..but the opportunities to even buy one are few and far between..Now ..for a 38 carbine !!...j..
