    Sniper Course WW2

Found a pic on facebook in the PPCLI forum and thought it should come over. I think it's been looked at and perhaps discussed but not sure. I know we've talked about this very thing though...note the different rifles.

Clearly still busy with fieldcraft and similar training. No 1 and No 3 rifles only, no telescopes.

    A mix of SMLE Mk.III along with P14 (or P17) aren't they.....?
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

Looks like a camouflage and concealment course or dressed up as enemy to me.

I think they're just covering that part of the classes...why things are seen. Would be boring for these guys if they had been brought out of action for this course. Looks to me like a break between classes here.

Looks like a PH 5C or 5E or whichever one fits the big rifle... Would be an excellent shooter. And, would be a P 14...note the stock marking disc.

Looks like he wanted to make sure he got his whole face in the shot rather than concentrate on any target.................are you sure this isn't a wartime Gilette advert for the cleanest shaved chin??
