    Jim, this is sure to be a test eh? ... LOL the outside of the stock would be veneer for a chunk of hardwood inserted and bonded that would then need to be inletted after. I've done similar repairs on antique wood objects and furniture to preserve the look and grain. LOL - no real point in a repair like that but be fun to try....... if I had the time. But then what would you do with it after? I guess a shop conversation piece.

    Nope .. I still have that RFI Enfiled .410 I need to start on.
