They were also installed on the Ross using a bridge. Sutherland made a bridge for this.
The DCRA did strange things with sights and as long as they were military they were allowed to be used in competition.
Thank you Sir! I've seen pics of the "V" notch sights on the Long Lee, but the peep sight would have to be mounted near to the shooters eye, hence my question as to which of the Lee series of rifles it may have been installed on. Any Ross rifle parts are scarce now, but from what I've been able to gather thus far, the peep sight is a truly rare bird indeed.
