No4mk1 nose cap marking. ID
Just got one from BRP to restore the sporterized rifle I bought at auction.
Bottom piece has no markings I can see.
Top has what appears to be an arrow inside a circle or C making me think this is Canadian stamped.
There is also C C N stamped on the bottom piece which I am drawing a blank on.

Thanks. I dug a bit and found a thread that corrected me on it.
That's great as it bumps up the number of Canadian parts on this long branch restoration. Now I'm down to lower nose cap, middle band, swivel and rear sight that are British or unmarked. And repro wood forend and upper handguards. The wood is matching new walnut so I may go with it for now instead of ordering uppers and hoping for a color match.

CA = Canadian Arsenals (successor to Long Branch 1946) CCM = Canadian Cycle and Motor Company ( now the company that manufactures hockey and sports gear).

They made the steel caps used producing the Long Branch woodwork.
