I'm trying to figure out what's on the muzzle of this nearest carbine? It's about the length of a flash hider and seems too long for a muzzle break. It's not a grenade launcher, it's too short? You can just make out the barrel clamp and the length of the barrel with his hand says there's definitely something attached...grenade launcher? What else could it be but?

The mostly obscured guy behind him certainly has a grenade launcher on his weapon.

Gotta have a *** while getting your wounds dressed. They still call cigarettes that or is it politically incorrect today?

I've been out since '08 and out of the PPCLI since '98 so I'm completely out of touch. I don't think so though...

Most people avoid the word because of its association with a life choice. And yes, the avoidance is politically motivated. The last time I heard anyone use it publicly was in a song in the '70s, and I'm not sure you could get by with playing it these days without having your head severed in the public square. You'll notice that the forum software covered the word. We aren't terribly politically correct but we do try to keep the forum's head down in Internet searches to avoid external controversy and keep the place a calm place. No problem asking your question, though.

No magazine in the carbine so I'm thinking grenade launcher.
