Mauser Argentino models 1891 Mexican stamp question ?

I just bought an Argentineicon Mauser 1891 and I wonder why there is a Mexican stamp on the stock.
    Anyone have a little idea?
    THANKS.

Has the argentine crest been scrubbed? Are there any other argentine marks? Just wondering if the rifle is surplused or a contract overrun.
