A couple of unusual items this weekend.

But first a mess kit with a WWI knife and WWII silverplate fork. 1945 M.A Co mess tin, 1917 LF & C knife heavily personalized, possible southerner if that is representative of a Confederate flag. SILCO silverplate fork, undated but there were early wartime expedients. Silver more easily obtainable than stainless steel.

    Now the interesting stuff

A WWII Britishicon thermos, used by a variety of forces but I believe they are most common with aircrews. Hot tea for long bomber missions.

And what I tracked down to being a Germanicon WWI era tin plate artillery piece in good working condition.

I also picked up a 60mm bazooka rocket that's in better shape than any other I've found. Originally painted black, someone painted gold overtop and I'm stripping it so I can repaint it. Feels different that I remember my others feeling, heavier. Top unscrews and there is a solid steel rod/weight in it. Not sure where my others are at the moment. I believe I have two somewhere. Fins bent or missing on both.
