Anyone got info on reloading 10.4x47R without having to invest in the pricy special order dies ? Is it possible to use other more common dies ?

I used .348 Winchester brass cut off at the shoulder and made a black powder blank, wax plug contained it. Then used a .44 bullet on top and they shot fine out to 200Yd. So they were two part ammo but no special requirements...

That would be an expensive work around today Jim. The few boutique ammo manufacturers that still load .348 Win. are charging upwards of $6.00/round.
Here's a thread about it, I'm not so far off either. I also found a die set for $188USD, others are near as much as $488USD.
