    Cool

Looks like a twin, or at least a close cousin, of one of the Mustangs we saw at the Indianapolis air show on the 6th. Polished aluminum, red spinner & the forward part of the cowling was also painted red. Beautiful bird!

Mustang, Corsair, "Jug", Wildcat, Mitchell, several other old "warbirds" staggered into the air & circled the field for 20-30 minutes. Oops, sorry, we didn't see a Mustang fly, she was just on static display.

I'll try to post a few pic's if I can figure out how to get them off my 'puter & get them onto this site.

    Caf

I've been in the CAF for about 12 years and got to see some great planes and meet some legends. I have been one of the criew ciefs for our C-47 Navy R4d and I was the 'official' photographer for our Wing and got to go on some nea
    t photo shoots.

My son a few years ago with my buddy Chris who gets to fly the CAF Corsiar at our wing. Chris served as a Marine sniper during Desert Storm earlier in life then he became a check pilot for an Airline, After 9-11 he was in his 40's but joined the Army and became a sniper again serving 1 1/2 years in Iraq. This photo was before he joined the Army. I thought he was nuts but he said he just had to go back.
