My son and I are on the right and with Paul Tibbets. He was an outstanding person and told us he didn't regret anything.

Robert Morgan (Memphis Belle) a few years ago at CAF HQ at Midland, TX. He and my son got along great and walked through the museum talking about 'Baseball' (Sheeesh)
Mr Morgan was still flying his own twin engine plane, but slipped on the steps a few days later hitting his head and passed away. This may be one of the last photos taken of him. My son was really sad.

Photo show some of the planes in our Hangar. The Corsair is out of view to the left. I climbed way up on an extension ladder to try to show all the planes.

View from my position in the middle as Crew Chief. It's some fun going on these training flights because the pilots play around flying on the rich homes! Lots of people come out when they hear those Pratt & Whitney R-1830 radial engines.

This was a tight squeeze dodging these cells. There was another one to our right. (I didn't have a lot of fun) The pilot was 'making' me fly from the rear seat and he was calm as could be.

We were offered a good deal to fly the R4D to an airforce show but the Airforce said we'd have to cover up our nose art or paint a bathing suit on her. I remember seeing photos of nose art being covered like this near the end of WWII as sort of defiance. (It's only red duct tape and I used a stencil with a magic marker. When I was going through my preflight for departure from the show I pulled the tape off! 
)

This photo is funny to me. My son's about to leave for a re-enactment and his cell phone rang. He popped his cell phone from a pouch on the cartridge belt.

Totally O.T.
While I was going through my files I found this photo I took of my son at a demonstration. It was soon after he received his black belt and he was pumped!
The lag time on my first digital camera was terrible and I got lucky to get this in the poor light.

Here's a close up photo of Stuart's private Harvard version of T-6.
He's the other Corsair demo pilot and a reall nice guy.
