03s on the hunt WW2
This picture appeared in my home town morning paper today. I couldn't help noticing the rifle wa an M1903. Just a local guy getting in some hunting wherever he could during the war.

There's a whole lot of 'up there' in Sardinia. Looks like an air crew jacket he's wearing.

Having time to hunt in 1944 also leads me to believe this fellow might have been in the air corp. Somewhere, I have some pictures of my Uncle Ed Sullivan wearing a similar jacket. He served in the air corp in Italy
during WW2

In many respects the Italian
and Korean campaigns were similar. Only two directions, uphill and downhill.
