The adjustable rear sights came into use in the early spring of 1944. The type 3 barrel band started to show up in the fall of 1944. About the 6.3 million range for Inland and the 6.5 range for Winchester. All of the rest were from rebuilding.

Bruce - I thought that last two months of Rock-Ola's had the T-3 Barrel band from the factory.

A Rock-Ola with a type 3 band would be a rebuild. Rock-Ola did not produce from the factory carbines with type 3 bands. hth.
