got my self a 1913 ross tel sig mkIII telescope to on display next to my smle.
but it's vision impaired.
center is ok but outside view is blurred.. guess i'm missing a lense.
does anyone know how many lenses should be inside?
or better does anyone got any drawings/pictures of the inside..

You've probably got one of the field lenses inverted OR they're back to front.
Take apart and write down EXACTLY how they were situated. Now reassemble, assembling one lens each time diffeently. It takes ages but you'll soon get it. As a rule of thumb, the smaler diameter curvatures should face each other. the plossl principle

found the instruction manual on the scout regiment scope..
Scout Regiment Telescope (Instruction Manual) - Military Surplus Collectors Forums
assuming similarity between the scout and the tel sig scopes i'm missing a lense.
the 1st draw is missing the field lense in the erector cell.

Yes, that picture is all very well, but it still doesn't tell you which way to put the lenses back in and that's the trouble with your fuzzy image..............

the front lenses were in the wrong position.. but a v shaped indentation was ground in the side of the lenses.. flipped the rear one. to align them..easy fix.
still got tunnelvision (i can see the inside of the tubes) caused by the missing lens.
anyone know what strenght it is or where to find one?

peter,
not sure on the nomenclature but from the picture above it's the last lens in the 1st draw.. (so i guess its called the erectorcell field lens)
when you make a batch of OG lenses i'd like a set.. mine are chipped on the edges and scratched in the center

Can't see how that can be. The erector field lens also screws into the front of the drawtube and holds the erector cell screwed onto its own inner thread. No erector field lens = no way to hold the cell.
Unless you're saying the glass lens is missing from the middle of the brass carrier.
